STS9's new album, Ad Explorata out in Nov. Atlas single out now-->

A huge musical foundation for me, and really the inspiration behind how I structure songs and mixes, is from the band STS9. They mix technology and instrumentation like nobody I've ever seen. They also use the platform they've built as artists to raise awareness of issues such as Katrina victims, etc. and I have nothing but respect for them.

Their new album comes out this November. Until then, a single, Atlas, has been released and available for you to hear:

Pennyroyal Live Gallery Update------>

The Pennyroyal set--Sept 4th w/ Live Painters + "Activity Collage"

"Activity Collage" is just that--a collage of different sounds and beats with occasional vocal samples from my past. I layered it with a base file that gives off the effect of being played on a record player--giving a more vintage feel. I let imperfections and occasional blips remain.

On Sept. 4th, I'll have the pleasure of helping The Pennyroyal celebrate their grand re-opening by performing a set. Look for a live manipulation of this track and others, as well as LIVE PAINTING during the music. Don't miss this. Details to come soon.
